Video Lectures on Subcellular Psychobiology
Dec 11, 2024
On this webpage are video presentations about our work in psychobiology. These talks were given at the Institute's annual International Psychobiology & Psycho-immunology Research Symposium. (You can view over 80 symposium presentations on our YouTube channel. We also refer you to our textbooks for more in-depth material.)
- Understanding the Institute's approach to psychobiology, with applications, by Dr. Grant McFetridge (2020)
- Foundations of subcellular psychobiology, by Gaetan Klein (2022)
- Psychobiology vs Psycho-immunology: Which is better for treating disease?, by Dr. Grant McFetridge (2023)
- Improving the efficiency of trauma therapy, by Shayne McKenzie CEO (2022)
- Alternatives to Conventional Psychological Therapy, by Sheelo Bohm, Grant McFetridge, and Barbara Conrad (1996)
- The root cause for 'Hearing Voices' and mind chatter, by Grant McFetridge PhD (2015)
1) Understanding the Institute's approach to psychobiology, with applications, by Dr. Grant McFetridge (2020)
Below is a video talk given by Dr. McFetridge at the 1st International Psychobiology & Psycho-immunology Symposium in 2020. It very briefly summarizes our work in subcellular psychobiology and developmental biology, listing the key models and discoveries we've made. (If the video just spins, tap on the title at the top of the video to open it in a new window.)
2) Foundations of subcellular psychobiology, by Gaetan Klein (2022)
Gaetan Klein gives an excellent summary of subcellular psychobiology from the viewpoint of a practicing therapist who uses these techniques daily with clients. Presented at the 3rd International Psychobiology & Psycho-immunology Research Symposium in 2022. (If the video just spins, tap on the title at the top of the video to open it in a new window.)
3) Psychobiology vs Psycho-immunology: Which is better for treating disease?, by Dr. Grant McFetridge (2023)
Dr. McFetridge gives a pros and cons comparison and tradeoffs between using psychobiology techniques versus using psycho-immunology techniques when treating clients. Presented at the 4th International Psychobiology & Psycho-immunology Research Symposium in 2023. (If the video just spins, tap on the title at the top of the video to open it in a new window.)
4) Improving the efficiency of trauma therapy, by Shayne McKenzie CEO (2022)
Shayne McKenzie, CEO of the Institute for the Study of Peak States, discusses how to improve the speed and effectiveness of trauma therapy, based on the subcellular psychobiology theory and practice. This was presented at the 3rd International Psycho-immunology & Psychobiology Symposium in 2022. (If the video just spins, tap on the title at the top of the video to open it in a new window.)
5) Alternatives to Conventional Psychological Therapy, by Sheelo Bohm, Grant McFetridge, and Barbara Conrad (1996)
This 1996 television interview is on alternatives to conventional psychological therapy. Even after almost 30 years, the material in this talk is still relevant today. (If the video just spins, tap on the title at the top of the video to open it in a new window.)
6) The root cause for 'Hearing Voices' and mind chatter, by Grant McFetridge PhD (2015)
This talk gives a great example of using subcellular psychobiology to find the pathogen that causes 'hearing voices'. It goes on to show the subcellular biology that gives us a fast and simple treatment. The textbook Silence the Voices (2017) by Grant McFetridge PhD goes into this phenomenon in depth.
